I made a topic in the cryonics forums: http://www.imminst.o...mp;#entry413034 asking for peoples opinions on moving to the US from Canada to be right beside a cryonics facility.
If I move to the US I would probably move to Arizona because Alcor's there.
look, I don't know anything about America. I don't know what it's like to live there. I've been there once but it was only like 3 minutes across the Border in Michigan to go shopping with some friends. I've heard that Americas dangerous because of lax gun laws and stuff and that their health care system is horrendous compared to Canada's and only serves a wealthy minority who can afford it.
I don't know if i would want to become an American citizen or not, I wouldn't want to cut ties with Canada.
Would there be any advantages to living in America than Canada? I really like the American view on Liberty in their declaration and stuff as I am myself a libertarian and i don't like it that Canada is still a constitutional monarchy with the Queen still being technically the top dog or rather bitch.
I'm going to do a lot of in depth research about this before I make any decisions. Does anyone know any good places to start looking?
