A short love story:
Aniracetam, especially in high doses, produces the strongest effects I've experienced from nootropics as of yet. A single two-four gram dose (common for me) of aniracetam starts to affect my mind in about 45-60min after oral ingestion. It then peaks after about 90min, and goes down some 2-4hours after ingestion. My mind gradually seems to accept all my stressful and anxious thoughts of the day, and I feel truly at peace with my environment, internal and external. Often this involves me sitting down, barely moving because of my extreme satisfaction, and watching my mind and body heal.
The strength of these blissful, soothing feelings (very) often seems proportional to how much my body and mind are wore out. In fact, if I really need to calm down, I get extremely calm. If I just want to relax and socialise with my girlfriend, I get talkative, relaxed and comfortable. Notice that this is the same dosage. I've had about 5-10 experiences with aniracetam, so I refer to these statistics with great care. Placebo-enhancing is of course an alternative to a true change in strength of effect.
Even though that is uncertain (the perceived effect-need-correlation), I am not doubting at all the effects of aniracetam, they are at times so strong I've invented the term anectasy. Another thing worth mentioning is that I sometimes use the drug methylphenidate (18-36mg) for it enhances my cognition and ability to concentrate on studies. It's never used recreational, and after a days (6-8hours) worth of reading and problemsolving I can feel quite exhausted. It's after the effects of the drug has disappeared that I dose myself with aniracetam. One and a half hour later, my state of mind has turned around completely. This is when I experience the strongest effects of this wonderful nootropic, true bliss. It's not that I love myself and the world, it also feels like the world is loving itself and me. Piracetam and oxiracetam do not do this.
Other effects of aniracetam: Increased alertness, concentration and acceptance of cognitive tasks. Very fluid speech and writing, presque vu-phenomenon: non existing. Average retrieve time of memories, noticeable increased. Strong increase in confidence, self-control and energy.
So, I am wondering, is anyone else experiencing anything like this? I'm am very impressed of my effects, but am I only with the strength? I am aware people have quite different effects of racetams, and that cognitive enhancing effects have yet to be proven, but I can't deny my own response to the drug. It's too damn good, it's hard to believe. Why is it only aniracetam, can anyone propose a pathway of effects? What makes it different?
Finally, I didn't notice any effects like these when I didn't eat fat before ingestion of aniracetam. Any ideas of a good and reliable way to dissolve it for improved formulation? Is a (non-intoxicating) small volume of 40% alcohol safe?
