Interesting and perhaps important concept, but the study cited merely shows that both gut bacteria and gut fungi are altered when put on a high-fat diet as opposed to a "standard" diet. That is no more than what anyone would expect, given that the gut biome is a dynamic community that responds to the foods that are input. It doesn't mean that the organisms that were more prevalent on the high-fat diet were somehow harmful. It's not even obvious that a high-fat diet is harmful or causes obesity either.

if high fat diet causes harm, then the ketogenic diet wouldnt be so healthy, right?
