Hey all. I've been thinking of adding pterostilbene to my anti-aging stack. Was pretty psyched after reading studies as well as anecdotal reports of positive benefits in the short term. I'm not too worried about this substance increasing overall lifespan. Rather, I'm excited to use to to increase healthspan as well as improve cognitive performance.

_____ My Question is:

Over several hours of research I have seen ,in discussions and scientific studies, that pterostillbene influences "fission" in the mitochondria of cells. I know that there is continuous fusion and fission in the mitochondria. I was wondering if the fission that pterostilbene causes could throw off the fission/fusion balance and if long term use could be detrimental to healthspan, DNA, visual appearance over time.

Thank you
