Currently using 60mg vyvanse in the morning and 20-40mg adderall in the afternoon. Started back on lexapro at 5mg and don’t want to increase amphetamines to combat the fatigue. Memantine seems like a great side effect free option with neuro benefits. I want to try it and curious on users experiences? Thank you.

I'd be careful assuming that Memantine is side-effect free.  Start very low and be slow ramping up.  The half-life is such that it will sneak up on you, and by the time you realize you've been taking too much, you'll be in for a long ride down if it affects you negatively.  Memantine made me psychotic; it's definitely not without risks.  Apparently, I am predisposed to psychosis, so great learning experience.  No other substance has ever been such a catalyst, so I can't really be in the camp that says "it's not Memantine's fault."  It was just not for me.  I never made it past 5mg.

What else have you used? Maybe you are extra sensitive to dopamine?
