What can my friend take for reoccuring UTI and bladder pain?
She is currently drinking a lot of water, taking cranberry extract, probiotic, and D-Manose.
She isnt taking any other supplements or medications whatsoever.
Thanks!

The only things that come to mind are making sure she urinates after sex (if that is an issue) and wiping front to back after bowel movements.

theres alot of other things that those symptoms could be... if she is not responding to, or is having the symptoms re-occur on all of those supplements, its defintly time to visit a doctor because there may be something else at work.

like scott said, front to back wiping for women is -very- important

I think d-mannose is VERY effective.

I second the front-to-back wiping thing, that's not something girls really want to talk about but its a very common culprit.

Also with the cranberry extract, don't be afraid to take ALOT of it to resolve a UTI. I had figured out at one point that to match the recommended intake of cranberry juice, you had to take 12 capsules of the standardized cranberry extract product I was looking at. Its harmless and works as well as antibiotic therapy at effective dosages.
