I prefer vinpocetine as a nootropic to use daily.

Deprenyl doesnt give you a euphoric or any type of high right? I was curous because im not interested in getting high or drunk. Let me know
Deprenyl is not a stimulant by itself. Some report mood change, even euphoric feeling. As i see it mostly happens with younger users, and usually is balanced after about 5-15 days. Again it all depends on your own chemistry. Deprenyl is a drug, it's not a supplement.

Plus it's widely available; you can find it in health food stores.

Ditto on the vinpocetine. Although I like the racetams (a lot!) I find vinpocetine blends nicely with my lifestyle. It's like turning up the Clarity control a notch.

Health stores in the US?

Deprenyl is not scheduled, it's registered in US but you can only get it for Parkinson if i remember correctly.
salesman
Piracetam is widely available from several US retailers. Browse supplier section to see where to buy.

This isn't like what is the best xxx. He asked what is the most effective nootropic you have used. He merely asked for personal favorites. Like you see not everyone likes the same stuff

This is like asking what's the best vitamin, or what's the best mineral. It's not a meaningful question to ask. A range of noots are best -- not any single one.
Since we don't really need nootropics, it's a different situation. I think we could make an interesting argument for "best nootropic" from a longevity perspective, assuming no adverse reactions, etc.

In the new issue of LEF, they make a case for a conjugated phosphatidylserine-DHA molecule being all critical.
