A blog would be nice, but since Betterhumans already has a variety of user made ones on their front page, Reason does his over at Fight Aging!, The Longevity Meme has a "daily news and commentary" section (as well as others I am sure), and there has been talk of instituting blogs here with the pending forum software update (although I am not sure of the status of that, perhaps Jayd would know), that niche might already be filled. (although if there was someone to do it, that would be terrific!) Perhaps there could be some type of feed, like there is for us on the main page (down at the bottom) from the Longevity Meme? Not sure if that is feasible or not.

I don't think we need a blog. An RSS feed of reasons blog or another would be good. I think a LIFO(last in first out) comment section would be nice on the main page. We should keep the site maintance down as much as we can. It would be nice if we could set it and forget it :).

I like you idea of having an editioral about each site we link to, but it might be a lot of work. We don't need any kind of fourm or anything real fancy. We are just trying to expose people to our meme with this page, not bring them into the discussion. They can do that by following a link.

I would like the main page to contain a lot of static text on it covering the type of stuff I talked about earlier. Things to keep people reading and not scare them off.

Remember the purpose of this page is not to have a new transhumanist/immortalist page, but to be the first impression people see when getting exposed to immortalist concepts.

With Reason's permission we could use a lot of stuff from the start here page.

Yeah I hear ya, I don't really want to get to carried away with it but at the same time Im thinking if we really want to go after that #1 google spot we will need some constant site traffic. I don't fully understand the seo rankings but I do know that traffic does play a part.

Hang on, didn't we start out to attact more traffic to imminst? I don't see a need to invent the wheel all over again and create a new site, be it like longevitymeme or like imminst or any mixture.

Next explain why both the natural and man made models pertain to humans

Well that's easy, they don't ;-) That's something one would actually need to cover up.

Yes but its a catch-22 .... The goal is to take the traffic from the anti-aging keyword away from the cream sales and move it to this site and others similar. So we make a portal that is intended to stear people to these sites - but - in order to get the high page rank the portal will need traffic of its own.
