Someone here mentioned these are invigorating for the brain--no? If so, could someone recommend whether a mixture of powers--and maybe a specific brand--would be more effective than buying the individual supplements together. I'm having trouble assessing the efficacy of these things, but am thinking it might enhance my diet, which is limited to what a maintenance budget and meagre spare time can provide.

I think most green powders are overpriced for what you get. Spend your money on some fresh fruits and vegetables instead. If you want wheat grass you can grow it yourself cheaply. Chlorella is the one product I would recommend-- Source Naturals and Jarrow use the Yaeyama brand.
