In addition to the previously posted info on how sex is good for your health, apparently simply kissing is good for your health as well. Here is an article on how long, deep kissing can prevent hay fever, and here is another one saying some of the same things about how kissing can prevent allergies.
Ok, so while not as good as the sex-is-good-for-you studies, still something you can show to your significant other as a good excuse (if you need one) for intimacy.
