I'm wondering what alternatives to Propranolol are out there for fighting performance anxiety. Propranolol, alongside with Atenolol and Nadolol are banned from importing where I live. What other beta-blockers are worth looking at? I read about Metoprolol but it doesn't seem to be widely used for performance anxiety so there aren't many reports on it out there.

How about other medicine sometimes used for anxiety that acts on the a2 receptor like Clonidine or Guanfacine?

Any thoughts?

Propranolol has quite literally changed my life and I am so happy that I have found it. I have found it online (you can do it too). It really does work, and its amazing. I don't know any alternative, maybe other beta-blockers work well...

Yes I read great things about Propranolol and I could import it here but it is banned on a customs level, and importing it could get me into trouble.

Wikipedia has a list of non-selective beta-blockers. Does anyone here have a better understanding with these and if something could compare to Propranolol?

Nonselective beta blockers display both β1 and β2 antagonism.[72]
