so there are various websites that talk about marijuana preventing certain things.  Does this happen at normal doses or can you microdose for months and get the same effect?

First you have to ask if marijuana at any dose will cure anything. What is it you think it cures?

Before anyone slams microdosing scheduled substances (depending on your locale) with "Pointless, Timewasting" or "dislike", consider that regulation rarely keeps pace with scientific discovery. More often regulation keeps pace with frivolous politics. I'm pretty sure google scholar could turn up a number of articles on it and you could also check out chapter 8 of this 2019 book: "Advances in Psychedelic Medicine: State-of-the-Art Therapeutic Applications" by Michael J. Winkelman and Ben Sessa MD.

Everyone should keep their minds open on topics like these. Consider for example figure 2 here (while also being aware of the risks involved)

Good luck with your search!

You're stating something with no references. We (as readers) have no idea what you are talking about.

It's an interesting thought, but please fill us in. And what is your personal experience in these matters?

Microdosing certainly makes eminent sense, given the potency of current strains available today with THC/CBD levels @ 30-40%

preclinical study published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease found that very small doses of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a chemical found in marijuana, can slow the production of beta-amyloid proteins, thought to be a hallmark characteristic and key contributor to the progression of Alzheimer’s.
