Personally I have never felt better recently after consuming 20 grams of spirulina and 10 grams of broken cell chlorella a day. I've added this to the one a day multi, fish oil x12, pribiotic, calcium, vitamin C, whey protein, etc. I've been on this dose for about 10 days and my vitality and clarity are incredible(they were already great!). I've been considering upgrading my multi to LEF mix althernating with Ortho Core. Perhaps this is not necessary??? I recently read the e-book by Mike Adams. An interesting read indeed, I recommend it. Might be something in it! Of course these green superfoods don't contain everything that LEF mix or Ortho Core contain, but they do contain pretty much everything the human body needs to thrive, and in the right proportions.

What do you guys reckon?
Anyone taking high doses of Chlorella or Spirulina?
If your budget is small could this be the answer to great nutrition, longevity and mental clarity?

Just a few thoughts! :) I don't sell this stuff [thumb]

chlorella is far from containing the proper amounts of everything you need to live... if you feel that great, keep taking it. but it is no subsitute for proper nutrition & a multi vitamin.

did you mean youre taking 'one a day' the brand vitamins?

my guesses as to why youre feeling so great:
a) maybe you dont consume enough veggies?
b) its chelating an excess of heavy metals from ur system
c) the b/g algae your eating contain phenylethylamine

could be something else, who knows!?

I take chlorella for the help in removing excess of heavy metals. I believe its not a chelator but it links with the residues in the intestines preventing it from reentering the organs (poor scientific explanation). I have read this awhile ago where chlorella was used along with strong chelators.

Perhaps I'm getting a good detox effect from these foods. Detoxing is most probably a very good idea for anyone these days. Don't know if it contains phenylethylamine? There is no runners high, just feeling clear and vibrant. Or putting it another way, feeling like you should! I have changed nothing else recently in lifestyle or nutrition......

Enough veggies? I eat them at least 5 times a week, along with a very healthy diet. There is definately noticable effects in larger doses of Chlorella and Spirulina. Mike Adams' free to read ebook is worth a look at! Anyone read it? Any comments? Thanks Ben
