Hi everyone, just pitching a pretty rough cut idea. I'm starting to realise myself how difficult it is to make a commitment to changing one's lifestyle and habits in order to facilitate life extension and cognitive improvement. This is particularly difficult in Ireland where there is a definite culture of drinking large amounts of alcohol in order to socialise and fit in.
So I was wondering if maybe imminst could have some kind of seperate area where people could be grouped by location (if they wish their general location to be known) such as having pins on a map or something. People could arrange immortality related social outings and make friends with others who are committed to living a healthy lifestyle. Perhaps even some kind of low key dating or match service could arise? I know we have few female members, but in the future it could be quite useful, perhaps as a funds raiser. I can't imagine what it would be like having a girlfriend who would understand whewre I'd be coming from if I said "sorry, cant go to the bar tonight, taking noops today, how about coffee"
Even if all that comes of this is that a few members can go out for a few games of squash, go bowling, have a few coffees and discuss nootropics, diets, caloric restriction and life extension, it would be an enjoyable type of experience in my opinion.
