I want to try fish oil capsules that contain the whole spectrum of fats (saturated, monounsaturated, polyunsaturated,...)

Should I go for a brand or unbranded supplement ? The unbranded are pretty cheap on ebay, I don't know if they contain all the fats.

And does the fish species matter or are some superior ?

If it matters, I want to use them for anxiety & insomnia.

Fish-oil supplements are known and taken for their high omega-3 content of polyunsaturated fatty acids.

For example cold-pressed organic olive-oil for their high content of monosaturated fatty acids.

Or for example coconut-oil for their saturated fatty acids.

Therefore your first question makes absolutely no sense. There isn't any natural fish-oil with high monosaturated or saturated fatty acid content.

Fishoil goes rancid easily, therefore only go it a brand with good reputation and high throughput. Fishoil from smaller fish are less contaminated with heavy metals than larger fish. Especially important to consider when choosing to eat fish.

Ok, thanks for your reply.

Any brand you would recommend ?

And can I preserve them longer in the fridge ?
