If I understood you correct, you are asking what is the "fluid" that they use to successfully cryopreserve cell lines.
For the different cell lies the most effective cryoprotector is different, but usually it is being used DMSO at percentages from 10% to 40%.
The "fluid" is named "cryoprotective chemical solution", "cryoprotective solution", or simply "cryoprotector". Besides the DMSO it usually consists of PH buffer and the cells feeding media.
