besides the obvious ways of course of avoiding UV. Looking for systemic ways to prevent and mitigate existing moles and freckles I have.

I don't know about moles, but I would imagine freckles could be treated with standard hyperpigmentation treatments: ascorbic acid, hydroquinone, glycolic acid, etc.
