Kind of interesting. It takes a look at how using carbon nanotube based membranes can filter (and de-salinize) water from the ocean to make it clean to drink. Could be a tremendous help for our increasing global demand for clean water.

Man, them little buggers are useful! This post has to be just about the ten billionth thing I've heard of that carbon nanotubes are good for! What versatility!

Next thing ya' know, they'll turn out to be a cure for baldness, gullibility, and low sex appeal! [tung]

This sounds great. As far as life extension, note the post at the bottom regarding dialisys - I think the even bigger impact this particular use can have is on filtration technology for blood screening and liver and kidney dialysis.
