Good day all, I am receiving Longvida today. I am aware that it crosses the blood/brain barrier if taken orally. Having said that. Do you think there is any benefit to taking Longvida sublingually?

Have you already tried how it tastes?. Be aware not everybody can stand up to a certain degree of bitterness under the tongue.

 

The sublingual route of administration can be used for drugs which undergo extensive first pass metabolism or degradation in the GIT. Drugs administered sublingually tend to have better bioavailability which correlates to dose reduction when compared to conventional oral tablets.

Thanks Engadin, I assumed as you do that subligually will be more effective than orally, even though Longvida can cross the blood/brain barrier. I have received Longvida and I had no problem taking it under the tongue. I am looking forward to seeing the results over a span of a couple of months.

I have also had Longvida with MitoQ but in capsules. I plan to go back to them in a month or so. I felt my arthritis diminished quite a lot and I guess its due to the curcumin antiinflammatory effects.
