It seems the "Active Topics" button is not working. [:o]

I can't go back to just randomly browsing through the forum areas to see what is new. I can't function without it. [mellow]

Edit: It is working again, disregard.

It should be working from the bottom.

For a while there, imminst.org had stopped working, even though www.imminst.org was working fine.

It must be an apache thing. I could ping both, so I'm not sure why one would work and not the other.

Anyway, the active topics list in the menu is set to:
http://imminst.org/f...&CODE=getactive

I tried the following (when the menu option was broken), and this worked:
http://www.imminst.o...&CODE=getactive

Good to know, thanks for the info Jay. You are a continual fountain of helpful info and tips.

By the way, I am not the only one that can't live without the Active Topics button am I? I love that little bugger.

This is one of the most useful tools here, we all use it ;)

You could look at the online list, most likely the "searching" ones, look at the active topics.

Yes, and that's what I thought was originally meant.

I'm not -- are you using the latest version (1.5.0.4)?

I don't think that's it, or unless that was only part of the reason. Clearing all private data finally did the trick. Thanks, FO.

OK I have the latest version 1.5.04 and I could see that menu previously. What is private data and how do I clear it?

Scott: Tools > Clear Private Data > 'select all the items'

Actually, if your connection setting (Tools > Options > General) is something other than "Direct connection. . . ," then you may have to live without the top Imminst menu and just with the one at the bottom. Either that or change your setting to "Direct connection. . . " until the top menu appears before changing back to your previous setting.

Some of the indirect intermediate networks are probably mishandling a few packets.

The present version of firefox is a major pain. I have to clear private data once a week or so or weird stuff happens. I shoulda stuck with the version from about a year ago. This one has many more hiccups.

I dont know what version you have, I have version 1.5.0.4 it looks like, and I hardly ever have any trouble.

(PS. its probably all the porn sites you visit ;) )
