Previously an NMN mice study showed 0.5g/L improved fertility while 2g/L reduced. 0.5g/L corresponds to about 6.67mg/kg in human. 2g/L corresponds to about 26mg/kg in human.

Here is a new mice dose study on NR. 30mg/kg and 180mg/kg have similar results. 900mg has worse results.
NR optimum dose is probably between 30 and 180. So pick 180 as the upper limit and divide by 12, we get human upper limit dose of NR of 15mg/kg. This is similar to the NMN study.

The attached paper refers to NR per kg food, not NR per kg BW.

You have to translate the NR per kg food to NR per kg body weight and then use allometric scaling to humans.

Good catch. A 30g mice eats 6g food per day. So the results per kg food need to be divided by 5 to get per kg body weight. That lowers the upper limit to only 3mg/kg for humans.

I've found that 250-300mg/day is reasonable. And by reasonable I means, affordable, and it does not cause any joint issues after long-term use. As to longevity effect, that's still up in the air (haven't died yet), but I have experienced that more, used long term, caused me the aforementioned joint issues.
