WOW. I truely envy these base jumpers. The below clips blew me away. At times it doesn't look real. It looks more like some sort of simulation

Talk about pushing the envelope. WOW! A great soundtrack also

OMFUG! I'd heard about these flying squirrel suits but never seen them. I heard that you had to be a hell of a skydiver to pull it off. I think these guys would qualify. ISTR that you could land one of these without a chute, if the terrain would support it. This video doesn't make me think that's true, though...

Base Jumping has been my sports of choice for as long as I can remember. The fact that they have developed wing suits to this degree in that time only makes it all the more interesting to me.

I have been subscribed to a guy in YouTube who posts a few base jumping and skydiving films - Frickman. I hadn't seen the one you had posted before though Zoo (although I had seen a few clips from that same roadside venue.

This one has always blown my mind - Techincally sky diving, but really, who cares?

and I promise you, one day I will be making videos like this one:

And this is pretty damn cool too:

Just make sure you watch out for stuff like this if you decide to do base jumping:

Well, I was trying to find a video to prove to everyone that racquetball > base jumping, but it looks like I'm out of luck until Federer decides to get real and throw in some walls.

Btw, on that last clip, if for some reason you don't want to sit through the whole 6 minute clip, skip to 2:15 and watch that. And also watch the last few seconds, which is what I was actually looking for when I found these clips. Dan basically invented Rope Free Falling, which is even more extreme than Basejumping. it basically consist of setting up a giant swing, and then jumping somewhere which isn't at the anchor, and isn't all the way out at the length of the rope, so that the result is you get a long freefall before the pendulum kicks in, and softly swings you out of your freefall.

Unfortunately an accident while doing this ended up killing him, but still....

My own video:

Unfortunately nowhere near as cool as the basejumpers and the Dan Osmond clips...but mine all the same.

More will follow, and they will improve with time too.
