Sunglasses - YES, only if they are black and have 100% UV protection.

But don't never use blue sunglasses, because the destory the "yellow spot" in your eye.

Anyway, point was, definitely wear eye protection when in the snow.

No sunglases == Bad grades!

Seriously, I've always wondered... I've noticed that some people in their 40s have red-ish eyes, but only in the front part (not the part their eyelids cover when eyes are normally relaxed). I assume this is from UV damage... is that correct?
