Hey everyone.

Does anyone know of a progressive doctor who treats lipid 'disease' who accepts telemedicine patients?

I have reasonably high LDL, and while I really believe the solution is a low carb (not necessarily super high fat) diet...    I'd like to work with a real MD to assess my true risks, as opposed to my primary care physician who wants me on a statin.

(My triglycerides are in range, blood pressure low-normal generally...  lowish but in range HDL)

Cardiac calcium CT score is 0.  I take plenty of K2 and even nattokinaise.

So I think my real risk is very low.  But I'd prefer an MD who is both progressive (knows statins can be dangerous) and very knowledgeable on lipids to run additional labs and consult with me.

TIA.
