Two days ago, Hezbolla rocket (Fajr-5) fell 40 kms from my house. I heard it hitting the ground. Terrible sound.

See the news, look how the savages exult in the streets following a successful killing of Israeli-civilians.

Some of Nasrallah's (leader of Hezbollah) most memorable quotes:

Speaking at a graduation ceremony in Haret Hreik, Nasrallah announced on October 22, 2002:
"if they [Jews] all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide."

The New York Times qualifies this as "genocidal thinking", whereas the New York Sun likens it to the 1992 Hezbollah statement, which vowed, "It is an open war until the elimination of Israel and until the death of the last Jew on earth."

Michael Rubin qualifies his goal as genocide too, quoting Nasrallah ruling out "co-existence with" the Jews or "peace", as "they are a cancer which is liable to spread again at any moment."

The Age quotes him like so: "There is no solution to the conflict in this region except with the disappearance of Israel."Interviewed by CNN, Nasrallah expressed Hezbollah's reluctance to fight America, however, declaring readiness to respond if "someone launches an attack [...] We will not take rejection or humiliation."

Holly hell!

How come it fail so close there!?!? I thought where you live is safe! Tyr!

And, Harold, I'm sorry, I never meant I wish to just devastate all the Muslims or anything like that.
But this is a war state, and I believe there is something like 50% that the fanatic ones who actually try to rule the earth will make this entire world blow (perhaps except Australia- Graeme, you lucky bastard!)..

Things are different when you live in a reality like ours, so close to the war, surrounded with foes. So different.

BTW, I think when I return to Israel, they will disallow the handy bags in the flight after what happened.

I must agree with Mikelorrey, the propagation of said clip incites hatred ofradical Muslims. Not Muslims in general.
Being Muslim isn't a bad thing but being a radical Muslim is, since they want to kill everyone who isn't also a Muslim. (I think we can all agree, wanting to kill everyone who isn't like you is a bad thing.)

Inciting hatred against anything - irrespective of however vile it may appear to the sensibilities of some - is not a useful way of addressing these things. We must endeavor to understand why it is that these people feel compelled to instill in their children such hateful values. We must look at the source of the problem rather than knee-jerk responses that merely cover up the symptoms.

I don't see anyone asking, for example, why it is that militant Islam is beginning to spread so rapidly in recent times. Hate is born from fear. What are they afraid of?

Inciting hatred is a powerful propaganda tool designed to mobilize mass opinion using minimal resources. It seems to work well with those of sheepish mental disposition. It is astonishing for example, that so many American and British citizens initially accepted the outrageous lies about WMDs as a reason for invading Iraq. It is a testament to the superb PR machines in the UK and more so in the US where public opinion is so easily regulated by media rather than discourse.

Well, I see you inciting hatred of christians here on this board, I can paint you with just as broad a brush. Why is hating Christians okay, but hating radical islamofascists is not?

I'll be fascinated to hear how you can show I do this, irrespective of how broad your brush.

It is rather long (over an hour). Comments would be welcome.

Thanks for the rec. It was a good watch.

What is really shameful is the preaching of hatred... more than shameful.. I'm embarrased to share DNA with that man.

What is really sad is to see how the man in that video is brainwashing those children. Those children look really innocent. He is programming hatred into them. It's not the DNA (hardware) that goes corrupt as there are many peaceful muslims (I work with a few), it's the beleifs (software) which infects like a evil virus. I wonder how those children will learn and change given their misfortunate environment.

The part I do not understand is that parents allow this severe form of health threatening indoctrination to happen. For me, this means that the culture these people are part of has some serious flaws.

I can understand how this kind of culture develops and I also know that the culture we come from was not any better about 50 to 100 years ago. Our "western culture", whatever that is, also still has serious flaws, I'm aware of that. It's also easy to criticize others based on limited views. This is exactly the reason I was in the camp of the more liberal background that e.g. prometheus seems to belong to.

But we should not forget that the hatred against Israel, that is artificially indoctrinated, could also be dealt with more subtle by that population. What happened to intelligentsia in that region? Did they all immigrate? These societies also have their own responsibility regarding fighting indoctrination and opposing mingling of military (or militant) organisations with civilians.

In our western society, it was the industrial revolution and the accompanying oppression that triggered all sorts of freedom movements. Why do these societies do not deal with their own forms of oppression themselves? I know this is an easy question, sitting in my armchair, but to my opinion it is surely a legitimate and an important one.
