I think the North-East will be the best place to live in the future as climate change continues. If you look at the East Asian countries they have the perfect (best) climate with high population and small land so they were able to evolve technologically fast. Europe didn't or have the climate advantage but they score similarly in intelligence to them. I think it is time to plan for the future and think of your future children where they will live. Desert areas like the middle east will only get worse. Immigrants also need to be tightly controlled otherwise it can lead to slowing down of progress. One of the big problems in cold areas are transport and distance of food so it can lead to higher prices but as it is improved it will change. It takes time. But if you have a lot of resources like Russia you don't have to grow in certain areas and fields like countries that don't have a lot of resources to sell.
