"Wheatgrass: Green Blood can Help to Fight Cancer"

This study highlights the potential anticancer properties of wheatgrass. Wheatgrass contains vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and vital enzymes that play a role in its anticancer approach. It is known to be rich in chlorophyll, which is believed to increase oxygen supply to the body tissues. The study aimed to analyze the effect of aqueous wheatgrass extract on Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma (OSCC) cell lines.

Nice finding. I'm lazy when it comes to eating vegetables so I supplement a greens powder that contains wheat grass along with barley grass, spinach, spirulina, kale, chlorella and nettle. It gives me healthy feeling and improves my skin. I've also supplemented wheat grass alone with similar benefits. Good to know it also has anti-cancer properties. Don't start taking it with a big dose though, it can cause nausea initially.

Is a teaspoon a day ok for health benefits or is more needed?

1-2 teaspoons a day seems to be the recommended dose for powdered wheat grass. I would start with something like half a teaspoon and slowly increase from there. In the study they used some kind of extract of wheat grass, but I would think the whole herb powder does the same thing. I wonder if barley grass has similar anti-cancer properties. It is very similar "superfood".
