revival + gut replenishment

Rib Jig's Photo Rib Jig 03 Dec 2023

brain revival alone is not enough;

the gut needs replenishing, bacteria, fungus, etc.

they all communicate with brain;

is anyone researching gut revival...?

I am actually... https://www.humanmicrobes.org/blog

I'm sure by the time people start to get revived there will be a fully synthetic FMT. But that's still a few decades away. Currently, you have to screen millions of people to try to find a high-quality stool donor.

thanks! asking as non-scientist:
a. has upper age limit been established for "ideal" 0.4% FMT donors?

b. where in body does FMT take place?

c. what goes wrong with FMTs in less perfect range of top 1% to 0.4%?

d. are FMTs done on lab animals?  mammals?  which?

e. have any mammals morphed into super athletes, geniuses, or regained youth after FMT?
f. which human diseases will FMTs cure?

g. can you foresee FMT playing any role just before elder human passes away & is cryonicaly preserved?

answer to any one or more of above appreciated !!

a. No, but younger definitely seems better https://humanmicrobiome.info/aging/

b. You can take it orally or rectally https://humanmicrobiome.info/fmt/

c. It doesn't work and can make you worse or give you new problems.

d. Yep, FMT studies in many animals; mostly mice.

e. They've seen a variety of benefits. See the link above for example.

f. Unknown. Looks like possibly all of them. https://humanmicrobiome.info/intro

g. It can help reduce, reverse, and prevent many of the biological degradations that come with old age.
