Since drugs, steroids, etc are prohibited or fake may be there are some legal means. I have found this music  which when coupled with visual stimulation from led&laser based star projectors creates hallucinogenic effect, i.e. you see visions of nature, remember some feelings from early childhood i.e. alpha rithms are activated. It reminds taking MB to some degree and release of serotonin/melatonin is evident. I disagree with official claims that you need full darkness for melatonin. It's mechanism is more complex. Since it's converted from serotonin you first need release of serotonin. Getting serotonin from ads or supplememts kills libido but one safe way is its release during impressions from: sex, life, art or stimulation of perception systems. And here i scrutinize into such stimulation. The mentioned music or one of such type + visual stimulation by gradually transforming colors and shapes around you creats psychodelic trip where memories are interwoven with imaginary landscapes and that releases mentioned substances. A good way to get restorative experience during this hard injustful time.

The impotant mechanism discovered by me which is needed for hallucinations is that repeats/regularity of visual patterns must be broken and it's done by music and vice versa. When your mind awaits for same visual pattern with  repeat of same musical phrass but is presented by a changed shape and color psychodelic effect is produced. I guess drugs work the same way i.e. they change perception of usual things, and at the same time their effect is increased by changing setting to non-usual one.
