Any opinion on this QFLife - or Anyone Else...?

Chemically_Charmed has already supplied this link above: https://pubchem.ncbi...ioAssay-Results

There are large libraries of previously formulated and screened molecules available to researchers. This particular one doesn't look like it has been used for anything in particular.

A long time ago I looked at the molecular structure of telomerase activators. They all seem to have one or more benzene rings (I am not a chemist!). I do not understand - I don't know if anyone understands - why certain molecules can activate one gene but not another. This is why large screening assays are done. Basically you are looking for a needle in a haystack. I would have thought that once you have found a number of genuine telomerase activators, you could design a whole range of similar (but slightly different) molecules and therefore have more targeted screening and a better chance of getting a stronger hit. But as I've already said I am not a chemist, or molecular biologist, so I don't know how difficult this might be.  I am guessing it is very hard, or very expensive, as this is what Bill Andrews has been doing for decades.

Much appreciated

Will try and see if a master chem expert I know can help decipher this
