I chose head only because its cheaper.

I also chose head only because I dont see myself living forever with this body and I wish that people can regenerate me a new one in the future.

My body as it stands right now, and skeletal structure, is falling apart, I will be suprised if I even make it to 60 before I'm wheelchair bound due to neurodegenerative issues.

And osteoarthritis (will get later on)
And cancer of the bones. (will get later on, no i dont have it yet.)

Frankly I dont want my bone structure killing me after I've been regenerated/rebuilt because some cells up and decided to become cancerous.

Ontop of that, I dont really want to remain the same person as I am now.

I want a new body with new genetics running behind it, but I want to keep the exact same brain.

INFACT, I want to become Radical Edward, but I want to become a Hermaphrodite, and no I dont want to hang around with pervs, this is mostly an intellectual personality of mine (I have 8 distinct personalities)

When you die, what is the process/timeline for being preserved, lets use the neuro option as an example. How fast does the team get their from the company? What if you live in a rural town 50 miles from a real city? Does the hospital do any of the "prep" if you are on your death bed? I have always wanted this option but have never had the logistics explained to me. Could somebody explain to my newb self an example of the process- starting from, lets say a car accident- to having your head frozen in a warehouse?

Thanks guys! Also what is the cheapest option that is in your opinion enough to retain as much information as needed to truly retain your self and consciousness?

I appreciate the explanation, as I have been considering this for years, but I never knew enough about it to seriously look into it.

I would suggest that you start being open about your thought processes and writing them down onto text documents.

However make sure you choose an open and already widely supported document format.

Like JPG, PDF, etc.

I used IRC for 10 years and logged every single day of it for those ten years, I have a fairly good record of what my mental psychology is like.

Its on two redundant USB flash drives.

All my thoughts.
All my feelings.
All my emotions.

Document as much of your life as possible, both auditory (by using a Panasonic MP3 voice recorder) and visual with a video camera.

Store that data on M-Disc Bluray discs, discs which are made from rock and you engrave the data into them inorder to preserve them for 1,000 years (thats the estimated length of time so far before the plastic begins to break down and disintegrate)

The more you record of your feelings and emotions, your life, the better it will be to later on to recover and preserve those memories.

Thats my personal attempt at preserving my memories anyway.
