nad+ is basically a core cofactor in the electron transport chain so it's pretty tightly tied to mitochondrial function, yeah. personally i ran nad+ injections alongside my glp-1 protocol and it seemed to smooth out the energy dips, though that's n=1 and could easily be placebo. if you want something measurable people usually point to lactate/pyruvate ratio or vo2 max as the more practical biomarkers
