It covers the Cryosphere group taking over and "cleaning up" some of the main cryonics communities. A handful of censorship-prone people controlling the main communities is quite problematic.

It's important and valuable to have a wide range of ideas and opinions, and for people to be able to express themselves in a civil manner.

One must consider that they may one day be in a position to have their important opinion censored, and treat others in the same way they would want to be treated.

The OP's quest is finding a cryonics community that he feels "proud to identify with". Mine is to find intelligent people, and I've had the same struggle in that regard.

I disagree with their assessment of the "positive impact they've had". But because of my own inability to find intelligent people, I don't care that much.

However, if I ever need to reach lots of people in the cryonics community, it will be difficult.
