I'm missing a tooth in the back been missing it for a few years now and my main concern with getting an implant is the immune response, it might just create unnecessary inflammation in the body. I don't notice any teeth shifting or any changes in facial bone structure and can eat on both sides with no problems but worried it might be too slow of a change I can't notice it. How close are we to getting a regenerative solution? should I get an implant now or wait? the solution doesn't have to be a full grown tooth, maybe a lab can create the tooth from stem cells and then implant it in the body without the nerves kinda like a root canal.

Maybe an alternate solution would be to use a brace for that part of your mouth, not full braces, but maybe a partial brace. Then you could keep the teeth from shifting without needing an implant.

So I shouldn't get an implant?

I am not a dentist. I just suggested a third alternative, in case you did not want to get an implant.
