Ephedrine hcl/psuedophedrine?

Are they the same in effectiveness? What are the differences if any?

Ephedrine is a thermogenic. Pseudophedrine is, to the best of my knowledge a decongestant.

Ephedrine is a proven stimulant. Pseudophedrine only works in individuals who are quite sensitive to it and it carries quite a plethora of side effects including possible photosensitivity.

Having said that Ephedrine is pretty hardcore, If anything, for general use I would suggest something less powerful.

I know some guys which used it in rave to dance all night. Not sure which one it was tho.
