I guess this is a good post to mention this in.  I've been trying to optimize my vit d levels for more than 15 years.  I was low.  Something like 12 or 16.  Began using doses from 1, 5, 10 to 50Kunits and could only bring it up to 30.  Used all the cofactors like magnesium, etc., Nothing.  I've been taking 50,000 IUs a week for years with breaks here and there.  Can't get past 30.  Until that is, I started using Nicotinamide Riboside to boost NAD and without consistently supplementing D like I used to, my levels went up to 58 within a month.  Maybe my body wasn't converting D3 properly and boosting NAD alleviated that?  No idea but I don't believe it's a coincidence either.
