Hi, I’ve been looking into Sarcosine lately and was wondering if anyone here has any firsthand experience with it, especially for rumination, getting stuck in negative thought loops, or dealing with generalized anxiety disorder?

Did it help calm your mind or make it easier to shift out of repetitive thinking?
If you’ve used it, I’d love to know:

  • What dose worked best for you and what time of day you were taking it

  • How long it took to notice any effects

  • If you stacked it with anything else

  • And whether you had any side effects or downsides

did anyone try combining sarcosine with NAC or magnesium glycinate for anxiety or obsessive thinking? I'm curious if mixing it with other supplements made a bigger difference. I’ve seen some mixed reports on how it hits depending on what else you’re using, so would love to hear any follow-up experiences from anyone who tried it long-term.

I tried sarcosine a while back and noticed some mood lift, but it didn’t really stop the looping thoughts for me. What helped more was a combo of daily magnesium, better sleep, and low-dose CBD. I opted to buy cbd isolate to avoid any THC, and it actually smoothed out a lot of the overthinking. Just had to play around with timing and dose a bit.

Thanks for sharing, that’s interesting to hear. I tried sarcosine for about two weeks but didn’t really notice much. What dose were you taking, and how long did it take before you felt any mood lift?

 

I’ve also tried CBD/CBG isolates, but they didn’t do much for my anxiety.
