Meditation is clearly helpful to me and I can use it anywhere to calm down and get a better feeling. For intense meditation, stimulant seems to help in order to have a better focus on myself. Psychedelic (which most of you don't use probably) have greatly helped meditation but it's not what I'm looking for since this is for really specific time and in order to have a total different experience (Well I'm guessing meditation at higher level is similar to a psychedelic experience). [thumb] Well, share your idea guys!

No actually meditation is a way of making your brain work more efficiently. It is scientifically proven to do this.

Whatever your "stack" is daily I would recommend getting your body aligned and breathing and posture good.

Stop a few minutes to 'catch your breath' ( [wis]) after waking and as you feel yourself becoming
bound up... stop, breathe, relax your muscles and stop thinking and start feeling your body.

I like to take caffeine before I meditate so its more of a challenge. [thumb]

Theanine is supposed to increase alpha waves. Alpha waves are characteristic of relaxed states such as meditation and hypnosis.

I might also suggest Kava Kava. Although my results of past attempts at supplementation have been weak or nonexistent, a recent trip to a local "kava bar" induced some weird effects -- including visual trails for me and two others. I should note that there's no telling what was in my "kava" drink, although it tasted like dirt and numbed my mouth, so I'm pretty sure it was at least mostly kava :)

If you use a mantra and just focus on the breath you wont need any supplements/noots to meditate. Meditation is therapy in itself.
