Forum Upgrade - Landing Page

Hi Everyone:
We hope to upgrade the forum software to IPB version 5.0 which is more secure and functional.
This will be a good time for a new landing page/front page.
Do you have any ideas for what it should look like? It will have to maintain the same color scheme, logo, and byline, but most of the rest is up for improvement.
Submit a design. Suggest a different website or forum that you find functional and attractive that we could emulate.
