Does anyone know any effective, cheap brain stimulating software for a pc ( I remember someone mentioning "neuroprogrammer" ; I'm not sure if thats exactly correct)? Something similar to Nintendo DS' game would be great. I'm enjoying Sudoku, but I question how well-rounded of a brain excercise it really is. Thanks.

i heave heard high reviews of NP2, also if you get the additional goggles, then you can have light/sound entrainment, (light medium is supposed to be more effective for beta entrainment)
I personally use Holosync daily, and find it nice for balancing. I also own Thompsons CD"s Focus/Insight.
u mentinoed cheap software, u could just get BWGen and download some libraries for free, check their Yahoo! group for more info on that.
other than that, NP 2 pro is about $60 and is probably the best.

There are other forms of brain stimulation using vibration, light and low frequency magnetic waves. Look for a thread on the second page of this forum.
