I have been very busy elsewhere of late and I apologize for my ghostlike behavior. The good news is that another two electric vehicles have entered the home fleet. Another electric bike for my wife and a Prius that I am developing from being a simple SULEV to PHEV.

I am pushing to get over 100mpg on a standard domestic vehicle. We have started out at about a 45mpg average for combined local and highway driving. Anyway....

While I was researching this conversion I have been visiting a number of other forums associated with DIY efforts at building their models. One of them, GREENHYBRID offers what I think is a valuable search option you can see by clicking the link to them and looking at the bottom of the page.

You see they have a footer (Similar Threads) that is a type specific search engine that automatically provides direct links to other parts of the forum dealing with similar and associated topics. This appears to be a dynamic linking process that does not repeat the same topic thread multiple times but seems to be able to recognize sufficient key words or phrases that it filters out noise and offers very clear linkages.

This would be a very useful tool for all readers but also for leaders interested in pursuing routine clean-up and consolidation. Could this feature be included in the build you are creating Jay?

It appears far more useful in many ways than simply a better search engine that delivers too much or too little like we have. BTW I still prefer Google site search to our own as a general rule.

Yeah, that can be incorporated into the templates for forum topics. I'll have to look into it more to see what's involved.
