So do i have to take 600 mg to get the desired effect from it? I ordered 80 tabs and want to make it last awhile. What do you all think?

It should be all good. I took adrafinil for over a year and a half until I finally got a legit prescription for Provigil. Take it on an empty stomach and try to persuade your doctor to write you up a script for a CMP to check to see if your liver enzymes stay in range. As I posted in this topic:

Data on long term use of Adrafinil has never been published; however, modafinil, Adrafinil's primary metabolite -- has been much more extensively researched.

All of the research I have read on Adrafinil has been for three month intervals in elderly subjects (45-88 years of age). The dose used primarily in that research was typically 600mg before breakfast and 300mg around lunch time. Liver values appeared to stay normal within the studies referenced starting page 13 of this paper. There might have been some data I missed that suggests Adrafinil can change values in certain liver enzymes; I just have not seen it.

Linked above is an excellent write up on the pharmacological profile of adrafinil by CNS reviews. Included are summaries from research on human subjects (starting on page 13).

600mg is a good starting dose, probably best administered on an empty stomach to get optimum effects and absorption. In my experience, 300mg of modafinil is roughly eqivalent to the effects of 100mg of modafinil.

If you have any sort of liver, kidney, or mental disorder, don't take it.

In my experience (ordered from them at least 20 times), about 14 days to California, USA. They are the only supplier of Hydergine FAS (Facilitated Absorption System) that I know of.

QHI have been great, in my opinion. I have put in two orders now and both have arrived within about 10 days. Plus they are incredibly helpful and patient with me, despite a few nagging emails on my part!

QHI, i still dont see why they have their ridiculously stupid disclaimer form you have to fill out. I almost wanted to shoot someone when i placed my order, then received a message in the post saying i had to fill out a form and return it to them, a few days later.

Adrafinil? are you serious? i dont even want to ask why.

Keep in mind QHI is legally incorporated in the UK (as far as I know) -- therefore, they must abide by UK laws with respect to sales of prescription drugs to individuals outside their home country.

QHI has an INDEMNITY & DISCLAIMER form for first time customers that should protect them from somewhat from liability from selling prescription medicines to individuals in foreign countries outside of the UK. This is also a bit reassuring because I would assume if they are incorporated in the UK their management might be on their toes to some extent and use highly reputable pharmaceutical companies such as Novartis and UCB (where so stated) instead of what might be questionable cheaper international sources that might be lower in potency of or be absent in the active ingredient.

I did the I & D form once several years ago and that's it. I faxed mine in. This may cost you a dollar or something...but not so bad considering how good of a job they do at delivering the product line they do.

Here is a link to their I & D form.

Importing drugs from International sources should be your last resort -- working with a licensed medical practitioner and filling a prescription at your local pharmacy is the best way to go -- especially with controlled drugs that can get you serious jail time and fines if you are caught importing them. Modafinil is a schedule IV controlled substance in the US. It's all fun and games until you're locked up in a cell. ;)

I am not aware of any evidence that shows Adrafinil to be safe for use in humans for periods longer than 3 months. If you plan to take Adrafinil for longer than 3 months, make sure to have your liver enzyme levels checked periodically (ask your doctor for a CMP [Comprehensive Metabolic Panel]) and ensure they stay in the safe and "normal" range.
Caution:
Testing of this product has been carried out only on elderly users. The preparation contains an active ingredient, which could induce a positive result in anti-doping tests for athletes. If you suffer from epilepsy, or serious hepatic or renal disorders, consult your doctor before taking this product. Long-term use has also been associated with occasional instances of elevated liver enzymes, specifically SGOT, SGPT, GGPT and hepatic alkaline phosphatase. Thus, if you plan to use Adrafinil for an extended period of time, you should have your liver function tested to establish a baseline, and then after 3 months and again every 6 months thereafter. If abnormalities appear, reducing the dose or stopping the drug should permit a return to normal.
Take care.
