From what I've been able to tell, Alpha-GPC and CDP-choline have similar mechanisms of action, although Alpha-GPC is more effective. Is there any reason to supplement with both? Does CDP-choline have anything to offer that Alpha-GPC doesn't?

There are far more studies on CDP-choline on various conditions than Alpha GPC. While they both are precursors to Acetylcholine, they are two very different compounds and have very unique effects in the body.
