Hi

Been reading about supplements and generally health conscious and was looking for some help on matters. and things might be a little harder because of problems i have, mainly low income (on benefits/welfare) and i have a disease called Fibromyalgia and Bi-Polar Disorder, and might also have aspergia's but that's unconfirmed

I'm Male 27 5' 8" (172cm) and 196lbs (88.9kg) 26% BF at last test.

http://www.ukfibromy...definition.html

has more info on the matter. at the min i'm taking:

H&B = Holland & Barrett
NA = Natures Aid

ASDA Multivitamin & Minerals, has 100% RDA of most the main groups
H&B 1000mg Vitamin C (1 a day)
H&B Chelated Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc (2 a day C42%/M44%/Z55% RDA)
H&B EPA Fish Oil's 1000mg (3 a day EPA 180mg/DHA 120mg)
H&B Brewers Yeast (2 a day, stopped for the min tho)
NA Glcosamine Sulphate (1 a day 1000mg)
NA Ginkgo Balboa Extract 60mg (1 a day)
Quest Vitamin B50 Complex (1 a day 50mg of all B Vitamins)

also take 3 times a day a milkshake with the following

28g Soy Isolate Protien, 1tsp of creatin monohydrate, 3tsp milkshake power and semi-skimmed milk.

Heard most of these are good for the fibromyalgia and muscle recovery. i mostly eat a high protein diet with plenty of white meat (chicken/turkey) Fish, and vegetables and no red meat, and drink about 2 litre of water a day. i walk about 10-12 miles a week and plan on joining the gym soon, cardio i think

I await your disapproval and help.

Lemonzest.

ps. please forgive spellings etc, spell checked all i can.

I just told you this one on IRC but didn't get a response:
You need to supplement with iron if your diet isn't providing enough to replace what the soy is chelating. I'm unsure on exact figures here so will let others comment.

Good to see you here :)

Quest Vitamin B50 Complex (1 a day 50mg of all B Vitamins)

28g Soy Isolate Protien, 1tsp of creatin monohydrate, 3tsp milkshake power and semi-skimmed milk.

Things look good, you may want to look into a different multi-vitamin so you don't have to take that B complex. 50mg each B vitamins just doesn't cut it [thumb] Also, I am becoming more careful of my soy intake, as I have quite a bit and wouldn't use isolated soy protein, but rather whey, or any other number of sources. What's in your milkshake powder?
