I've got some melatonin to try but it got me thinking.... Would this throw my hormone balance out of whack? Any other hormones the body produces with melatonin that will be absent if supplementing on it? Is this not the reason why people taking steroids screw themselves up? (increase one hormone but all others stay the same and way out of balance).

To increase our testosterone levels we can take tribulus, which gets the body into producing its own hormones (in this case the LH hormone which in turn makes the body produce testosterone to keep the balance right). Rather than taking testosterone and leaving the LH and other hormones where they are

So other hormone supplements like DHEA, HGH, etc are they also safe to take without throwing the hormone balance into chaos? (not interested in those at the moment though).

I will give the melatonin a go regardless though. Working 2 jobs, and having a nice orange salt lamp crystal in my bedrom on all night does not give my body many chances to be in complete darkness...
