Hello, I recently purchased some Piracetam and Alpha GPC. I am concerned that my Alpha GPC is not getting absorbed properly because it barely dissolves in water. Is this normal? I'm taking approximately 1800mg of Alpha GPC in the morning, and 1600mg of Piracetam 3x a day (4800mg total). I feel sort of an alcohol type buzz, along with drowsiness, and possibly some slight brain fog, so I'm concerned that either the Alpha GPC is not getting absorbed, or I'm not taking enough, in relation to the Piracetam. Can anybody help me out here? Thanks.

My bet would be the pircetam is causing the brain fog. If you were taking piracetam without aditonal choline you would be getting headaches, not brain fog.

Lower your piracetam, maybe try 1600mg piracetam a day with 500mg alpha and wait for it to build up in your system to start working. Anyhow it seems that you are very sensitive to piracetam so if you are to benefit from piracetam it will be at lower dosages than others.

Just a guess form someone who's piracetam regime is 400mg of piracetam and 150mg of alpha ed.

Piracetam and Centrophenoxine is a great combo for me.

Those are huge doses of each. I take less than 1/4 of that myself though everyone is different. It does sound like the a-gpc is not doing it's job, based on your reaction to it. I use DMAE myself and find it stimulating. Piracetam by itself does little without a choline source. You might want to cut back on the piracetam a little and see how you do.

My AGPC isn't dissolving in water either, even though it's *supposed* to be water soluble. What gives? Do people just slurp this stuff off the spoon? I tried it and it doesn't actually taste half bad, though taking powder like that does make me a little nervous as I don't want to inhale any of it.

It's probably a 50% extract and thus has half phopholipids in it. Rendering it not very water soluble.
