Mostly addressed to LifeMirage, but anybody with info is free to chime in.

I've been tapering up my dosage of Galantamine for the past few days. What have you found to be an effective daily dosage? I've also got Choline Bitartrate (3g/day) and some ALC (1 g/day).

Also, tried any interesting combos (specifically Hydergine, of which I have some left over)?

BTW Thanks for the dearth of nootropic info on this board.

Because you are currently taking choline (all be it a weak form as an acetylcholine precursor) I would recommend staying around 8-16 mg if you plan to take it daily, as too much will cause nausea. The trick to Galantamine, as well as some other nootropics, a high dose in the beginning will generally give you faster & better results, but short term side effects can occur due to this in some nootropics, also some you should reduce the dose after you have seen results to a daily dose (lower dose if you plan to take it for a while on a daily basis) to avoid side effects (mostly with galantamine & deprenyl).

For me I took 24 mg at once for 8 days (by itself with no other nootropics), felt great for 7 days, had nausea on the 8th. Now I take 8-16 mg on a weekly (or every few days) basis.

Hydergine & Piracetam and/or Oxiracetam (5mg/1.6G-0.8G) is one of the best combination's I've ever tried.

Thank you I'm glad you found the information interesting & helpful.

What have you found to be a better ALC precursor?

CDP-choline and/or Alpha GPC are more potent and better as AcetylCholine precursors.
