Where would we be without Fox News?

Smith was taking a lengthy list of other medications, including methadone for pain, Valium, anti-anxiety and anti-depression drugs. She had also recently taken longevity medications, B12 and growth hormone, which are used for weight loss

And yeah, that's probably just what we needed...

On the night she arrived in South Florida, Smith had a fever of 105, probably due to the infection she had from injecting "longevity drugs" -- a combination of vitamin B12, immunoglobulins and human growth hormone -- into her buttocks.

Smith refused to go to the emergency room that night; instead, she broke her fever in an ice bath, took antibiotics and flu medicine and went to sleep.

Her "stack":

Drugs found in autopsy
The following drugs were found in Anna Nicole Smith's body during the autopsy, according to the Broward County medical examiner:

Brand name (drug) indication

-- Ativan (lorazepam): anti-anxiety medication

-- Cipro (ciprofloxacin): antibiotic

-- Klonopin (clonazepam): anti-seizure medicine also used to treat anxiety

-- Methadone: strong painkiller, often used to suppress withdrawal from heroin

-- Noctec (chloral hydrate): sedative and sleeping medication

-- Robaxin (methocarbamol): muscle relaxant

-- Soma (meprobamate): muscle relaxant

-- Topamax (topiramate): anti-seizure medication also used to treat migraines

-- Tylenol (acetaminophen): pain reliever

-- Valium (diazepam): anti-anxiety medication, also used as a sedative and to treat seizures

She had also taken these around the time of her death, according to interviews and other evidence gathered by the medical examiner:

-- Benadryl (diphenhydramine): antihistamine

-- Human growth hormone: touted as a muscle-building, weight-reducing agent

-- Nicorette (nicotine polacrilex): used to quit smoking

-- Tamiflu (oseltamivir phosphate): anti-viral medicine

-- Vitamin B12: helps formation of red blood cells

Broward County medical examiner; University of Miami toxicology department

Broward County Medical Examiner Dr. Joshua Perper said the powerful sleeping drug chloral hydrate and at least eight other prescription drugs formed a lethal combination along with a case of the flu and a bacterial infection Smith had developed from injecting drugs into her buttocks.

He said Smith had been taking a lengthy list of medications, including methadone for pain and valium, but those drugs were at therapeutic levels; she also had been on several antidepressant and anti-anxiety drugs and had recently taken longevity medications, vitamin B12 and growth hormone.

Chloral hydrate, the drug primarily blamed for Smith's death.

An assistant medical examiner's report described seeing a table in Smith's hotel room containing cold medicine, sodas cans, SlimFast, nicotine gum and an open box of Tamiflu tablets.

Jeez, nice stack. She forgot the ether. Civil War era anaesthetics go well with early 20th century knockout drops... Marilyn Monroe OD'd on chloral hydrate too. I wonder if Elton John is working on a new song?

LOL, yeah, that list is unreal. It looks like she was trying to out-Elvis Elvis.

She doesn't smoke anymore. Well, unless they cremate her.

B12 is used by users of NO (Nitrous Oxide) gaz to avoid defficiency

Or maybe that's because she was vegan? (I doubt it was for actual life extension)

Why not market a new supplement targeted at rich people?

"ResveraDone"

Handy mix of 250mg of Resveratrol and a generous shot of highly bioavailable Methadone

Or what about "CocaTrol"?

Instant success

So she died young from being irresponsible with longevity drugs? That's depressingly ironic. [sad]

Topamax is a very strong drug, abused by those trying to lose weight. It is an anti-seizure and migraine medicine. Its side effects are overlooked as the alternative of not treating seizure and migraines is very severe.

From PDR
" * More common side effects may include:
Abdominal pain, abnormal coordination, abnormal vision, agitation, anxiety, appetite loss, back pain, breast pain, chest pain, confusion, constipation, depression, difficulty with concentration, difficulty with memory, dizziness, double vision, drowsiness, fatigue, flu-like symptoms, indigestion, language problems, leg pain, loss of coordination, menstrual problems, mood problems, nausea, nervousness, nose inflammation, rash, sinusitis, slowing of movements, sore throat, speech problems, tingling or burning sensations, tremors, weakness, weight loss

In children, the more common side effects are abnormal gait, aggressiveness, behavior problems, confusion, constipation, difficulty concentrating, difficulty with memory, difficulty sleeping, dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, increased muscle movement, increased saliva, injury, loss of appetite, loss of coordination, nausea, nervousness, nosebleed, pneumonia, rash, speech problems, urinary incontinence, viral infection, and weight loss.

Other, less common side effects in children include allergic reaction, digestive inflammation, increased thirst, skin disorders, slowing of movement, vaginal discharge, vision disorders, and weakened reflexes. (the skin disorders include severe acne)

Topamax has also been known to cause a number of very rare side effects in adults and children (typically striking less than one person in a hundred). If you develop any unfamiliar problems while taking Topamax, report them to your doctor."

This drug is very toxic.
