I'm currently taking 2 caps of 15mg Vinpocetine and 75mcg Huperzine a morning on an empty stomach.

I just found out that this is virtually wasting the vinpocetine, same with the Huperzine?

Also, should I split up the dosage into two (day/night)?

I normally take 20mg Vinpocetine in two doses and 400mcg of Huperzine in two doses.

Huperzine-A is prescription drug material, IMO. That's how powerful its effects are on treating disorders, related to impaired acetylcholine signaling ability (Alzheimer's disease).
Perhaps some drug companies are even interested in getting this supplement BANNED!
For healthy folk, I would think 100-200mcg/day will suffice, with or without food, (there are some concerns that chronic administration in high dosing will do more harm than good, not sure about the specifics, sorry, - but one could take take breaks from this, and cycle w/other other nutrients, also).

Current studies are using 400-800mcg on Alzheimer's patients (in two daily doses).

Vinpocetine is better absorbed with food, yes. Excellent to take a smaller dose (5-15mg) with a meal.
