Great info -
I wonder if Beta Carotene instead of Retinyl Palmitate would be more effective

I've been very hesitant to try retinoids - I know they increase cell turnover but I don't understand the science indicating that this would be a positive net over the long term

I've found that Vitamin C works but its too harsh for my skin
vitamin E always seemed to cause me to break out

There are quite a few topical and oral ways to go about this.

What is the best way to get the benefits from these antioxidants? Are there products which have them in a good formulation or do you have to mix your own? What about internal vs external application?

Right now, I think the best thing for most people is to take certain supplements to prolong burning time and then apply a topical antioxidant mix before bed.

Best price is going to be mixing your own.

The only creams that worked for me are the DIY (Do it yourself) ones.

I have had much better results at a fraction of the price.
